The Deep Roots Music Cooperative is pleased to provide you with an opportunity to become involved in a vibrant community organization.

The Canadian Deep Roots Music Festival is produced by the Deep Roots Music Cooperative, a non-profit organization in the Annapolis Valley dedicated to celebrating and enriching our culture through music. The mission of the organization is to create meaningful connections between cultures, community groups, artists, and audiences by offering music-related events, programs, and an annual festival.

This sponsorship program aims to offer opportunities to gain prominent exposure before and after the festival and to develop special promotions around the program.

Please include this remarkable musical presentation in your marketing plans. In it's first six years, the festival has attracted thousands of enthusiastic music lovers.

The Deep Roots Music Festival is growing and changing. One thing that doesn't change is the Festival Committee's dedication to working with each sponsor to help ensure a maximum return on sponsor investment. The tremendous success of the Festival is made possible through the support of the business community as well as many volunteers. The Festival Committee looks forward to working closely with the Festival sponsors to guarantee the recognition they deserve in return for their continued support.

A variety of promotional opportunities offered by the Deep Roots Music Festival sponsorship program provide distinct advantages and opportunities for the sponsor to generate sales and awareness.

Festival Signage

Sponsors' names and logos may be located throughout the Festival to ensure high visibility to thousands of Festival visitors.

Logo Advertising

Sponsor logos may be advertised in Festival printed publications. Logos may be printed on shelf cards, postcards, posters, newspaper advertisements, souvenir programs and on the Festival website.

Promotional Rights

Sponsors may acquire the rights to distribute identified promotional items and products, as authorized by the Festival Committee, in favourable event locations.

Emcee Recognition

Sponsors may be recognized by the event emcee via stage announcements.

Event Passes

Sponsors may receive weekend passes to Festival events. These passes may be used by sponsors, their employees, customers or friends, or for promotional purposes.

Receipts for Income Tax

All receipt amounts are calculated according to Canada Customs and Revenue Agency regulations.

We currently offer 5 Levels of Sponsorship Contribution:

Festival Partner
Contribution of $5,000 or more
(Long-term agreements available)

Only three (3) organizations will be recognized at this level of sponsorship.
Sponsors will be given exclusivity within their respective industry.

Contribution of $2,500
(Long-term agreements available)

A maximum of 10 organizations will participate at this level of sponsorship.

Contribution of $1,000
(Long-term agreements available)

A maximum of 15 organizations will participate at this level of sponsorship.

Opportunity to sponsor a national artist; limited number available on a first-come, firstserved basis.

Festival Contributor
Contribution of $500

An unlimited number of organizations are invited to participate at this level of sponsorship.

Opportunity to sponsor a Maritime/Atlantic artist (limited number available on a first-come, first-served basis) or to be part of a stage-sponsor group (up to 5 in a group).

Receipt for income tax purposes -Or- 4 Festival Passes to all Deep Roots Music Festival events.

Friends of the Festival
Contribution of $250

An unlimited number of organizations are invited to participate at this level of sponsorship.
