As front woman and songwriter for two Nova Scotia Music Week “Country Recording of the Year” nominated albums, Cassie Josephine is returning to the stage as a solo singer-songwriter.

Her last album, Only Half Blue, brought together a Halifax-based supergroup of talented women, The Cry If I Want To’s, to explore the soft edges of country.

These days, Cassie resides in her hometown of New Waterford, Cape Breton where she is writing and recording a new album. Armed with an electric guitar, Cassie Josephine is finding new ways to create dreamy, vintage country-inspired melodies…

maybe just a little edgier this time around.
