A Deep Roots Festival Kick-off Party in partnership with The Church Brewing Company is in the works for Wednesday, September 21. Drinks and a meal and the amazing sounds of Asif & Ava Illyas. Tickets are available through The Church Brewing Co.
In partnership with The Canadian Red Cross Deep Roots presents a Red Cross Benefit on Thursday, September 22 at the Horton Performance Centre. The Deep Roots Music Co-op is partnering with Red Cross to focus local donations on humanitarian aid. This show will feature festival favourites Coco Love Alcorn and Ian Sherwood, and a special appearance by Annapolis Valley Honour Choir. If the weather is fine on Friday afternoon, the Annapolis Valley Library Wolfville Branch will host a concert on the former train station platform, behind the library. It’s a free show – a gift from the Library.
Paddy’s Pub in Wolfville presents festival performers on Friday and Saturday evenings. These shows are free and the pub is often full.
