Teresa Bergen and Kim Barlow present a rolling puppet theatre, with a red velvet curtain and fanciful characters including a flying girl goblin, a crash-bashy fox, and a haunted house with chicken feet.
They are at the beginning of their adventures – a new friendship is being formed, with mysteries to solve, trouble and fun to get mixed up in. Teresa Bergen’s mechanical ceramic pieces are vivid and enchanting, and Kim Barlow and her Goblin Band sing the stories with Kim on banjo and ukulele, Freya Milliken on harmonies and guitar and Tyler McDonald on percussion.
These working mothers are building a strange, beautiful world for audiences of any age.
