A Celtic singing harpist, Adria Jackson blends traditional Celtic music, original compositions, Canadiana, and folk-inspired songs with soaring vocals and masterful harp playing. Drawing on her Celtic, English, and Scandinavian heritage, her performances span multiple languages, including English, Gaelic, and Norwegian.
Following her Earshot charting debut album, Troubadour (2023), she released a brand new historical folk album, Helen Creighton & The Songs of the Red Parlour, in September 2025. Recently appointed a Heritage Ambassador for the Helen Creighton Folklore Society, Adria continues to share and celebrate the rich traditions of folk music through performances across Canada and beyond, and she’s thrilled to bring that tradition to Deep Roots this year.
She has performed for the Lieutenant Governor of NS and Atlantic International Film Festival executives, played Nova Scotia Music Week, and toured Niagara Falls, Vancouver, Barcelona, and England on her Accidental World Tour. She loves bending genres and has collaborated with musicians including Mohammad Sahraei (Persian tar), Sarah Frank (The Bombadils), Jacques Mindreau (fiddle), Catherine Little (cello), and The MacMillan Camp Boys (bluegrass fiddle & mandolin). Adria’s newest adventure is relocating to Latvia for several years with her family, which will include touring Europe, the UK, and Canada.
