Deer Jenny is an indie rock band from Wolfville, NS, made up of Noah Rafuse, Lennon Lang, Finn Paster, and Cameron Davenport. Originally formed as Summerhouse, the group came together through a shared love of music, film, and art. Their sound blends indie folk-rock with Midwest emo textures – moody, melodic, and unafraid to lean into the occasional pedal-driven swell – drawing inspiration from artists like Elliott Smith, Vampire Weekend, Silverstein, and Mathew Cothran. Fresh off a win at this year’s Battle of the Bands, Deer Jenny is now hard at work on their debut EP.

Catch them headlining the Deep Roots Youth Open Mic on Saturday, September 26 at Devour! Studios in Wolfville.
