PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release – July 20, 2015
WOLFVILLE, NS – The Deep Roots Music Festival team is thrilled to announce the festival is on track for a record-setting year of ticket sales. More than one quarter of festival passes were sold during the Early Bird sales period. “This is a new record for the festival,” says Festival Coordinator Lisa Hammett Vaughan, “and puts us on track for another year of sold-out performances.”
Among the many wonderful artists taking to the stage in Wolfville September 24-27, two of the biggest draws will be Sylvia Tyson, who helped define Canadian Roots music, and Valley resident Matt Andersen, whose high-energy performances continue to thrill audiences wherever he performs.
Deep Roots Box Office manager Paul Callaghan is advising loyal fans not to wait to purchase tickets. “Given the pace of ticket sales thus far, many of our shows will sell out, and it’s no fun when our long-time loyal fans can’t get tickets. Of course buying a festival pass is the best way to make sure you have a seat for all the shows,” says Callaghan.
Deep Roots has always been known for the diversity of talented performers it brings together, as well as the numerous opportunities audiences have to enjoy homegrown music. This year’s 12th Deep Roots Music Festival offers something for everyone’s tastes so buy your pass now for a fun-filled fall weekend in the Annapolis Valley. Last year’s main stage concerts sold out – don’t risk being disappointed this year!
Tickets are available through https://deeprootsmusic.ca/ and at any TicketPro outlet.
