Monika Wildemann, Artistic Director, brings a wealth of experience and passion to her craft. Her artistry shines through in the theatre’s signature “Wee Giants”- towering, imaginative puppets that have become a beloved feature of community celebrations. Since its inception, the Wee Giants have been the heart and soul of the Deep Roots Music Festival’s Fresh Beats Rhythm Parade, enchanting crowds with their majestic presence and infectious energy. Each year, Monika leads the Wee Giants in a vibrant procession through downtown Wolfville, transforming the streets into a stage filled with colour, music, and magic. The parade is a highlight of the festival, drawing people together in celebration and leaving lasting memories for participants and spectators alike.
